1. Scope of application
The general members’ assembly is the highest body of the foundation. It regulates the decisions of the foundation Nuru-Slums – Hope for Africa, based in Liestal, Canton Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland, as well as the users of this website and the donors, sponsors, and supporters of the foundation.
2. Purpose of the Foundation
The association is a non-profit, charitable organization with the aim of providing humanitarian aid, a safe upbringing with fair conditions, and a secure education to children, orphans, and marginalized people in Kenya/Africa. All financial resources are used for the care, education, and medical care of the children, as well as for the operation of the orphanage.
3. Donations and sponsorships
3.1. Donations
- Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
- A donation receipt can be issued upon request.
3.2. Sponsorships
- Sponsorships are a voluntary form of support that involves monthly or annual contributions.
- The sponsor receives regular updates about the child or orphanage they are supporting.
- A sponsorship can be terminated at any time without any giving reasons. Payments already made will not be refunded.
4. Use of the website
- The contents of this website are intended merely to provide information about the work of the association.
- The reproduction or redistribution of texts, images, or other materials is only permitted with the explicit permission of the association.
- The association accepts no liability for external links or third-party content.
